Nothing an angle grinder and some 2.5 GP rods can't sort out. Sorry, but I haven't had to mod a stand yet so can't help with this one.

If you are looking at yahoo in Japan, EMS Japan Post shipping from Japan is not available right now. Courier services like Fed Ex, DHL or others are the only way to send parcels to Australia by air right now. Surface mail by sea is an option but, very very slow.

There is a GSXF 750 centre stand on e-bay Australia:

Not mine or anyone I know, just a random stand on e-bay.

    Global shipping

I can't get a Katana collectors card posted in a envelope from the UK, but they can send it to Canada.
Are we getting deliveries from CAN, Odin could end up with some more paraphernalia, I Thor-t.

All good suggestions, thanks everyone. Unless a local Katana or GSXF unit becomes available, I might have to stick to a new one when I get the extra pennies saved. There was a ebay used Katana centre stand available in the US but the freight makes a local new one look very attractive.

I see there is one on Gumtree, but it is used and not much cheaper than a new one. Also there is one in the USA on evilbay, but the part number does not seem to match. I think I'll stick with the plan to buy a new genuine one from Mick Hone.
