Yup the exercise bit is what lets us get out here, at least for the moment anyway.

So I rang ferny Grove coppers today and of course got an authoritarian bastard who said " explain what part of riding a motorcycle is excercise". A typical authority that hates minority response. So a fine would be something to fight with that email and one would think with the courts closed the back log of cases would be overwhelming to the point flea bit prosecutions like that would be waived anyway. But then I've got family peace at stake with the added burden of a fine and court case maybe? Bugger might have to eat my hat. See what develops after this weekend.

It'd be interesting to see what info you'd get talking to a motorcycle cop instead. I'm sure they would have a different opinion as to how much physical exertion is required lugging those FJ1200's or whatever they are around!

There's also the more critical element for me which is mental health.

Interesting to see a girl in Vic got fined for being out with her mother for some driving lessons.

    Police state anyone?

Yes Pete, the catch phrase is use common sense but I can't see much in regard to this. It's ok for push bikes to ride all over the suburbs but we can't go bush. Oh well I'll wait and see what develops this week.

I read something that tightens it up.
You can leave your house to get food, medical attention or for work.
As long as you can prove you’re on your bike for one of those three, you’ll be fine.

    Otherwise get out your wallet.

Yeah they've clarified a lot over the last few days... ride to do essential activities only by the looks. Gonna be interesting keeping batteries healthy!

I've figured something out for myself at least in that I have a Tamiya Wayne Gardner NSR500 model sitting in a box that's been here for years, time to put that together. I'll need to head out to buy glue and paint, so there's a ride right there!

Also bought a Kat model off eBay for $20 which should be here next week I hope.
