    Chain Guard for a GSX1100S

    Hiya Kat People,

I'm selling my carefully restored Chain Guard (Part No 61310-49301-291).
I do have it listed on Gumtree & eBay for $110. but if anyone in this group is keen, I'm happy to sell it for $80.

I should buy it as I have got 2 broken ones in the shed and currently not using one for the last 3 years.
Mine keep fatiguing at the rear fixing point, Any one else have this problem?

Mine were all at the front fixing point.(once at SZ, two times at SXZ) Since the Chain Guard of my SXZ is made of resin, it was welded and repaired.

Exactly where my was broken, folded a piece of metal riveted to the guard and then bolted in place. So far so good.

    chain guard fix

mineIMG_20181209_121353 (2).jpg snaped off just above the rear mount hole so drilled another hole used the old nut ,it is slighty lower at the rear ,still works fine, hate to spend the big bucks on a newie when a quick easy fix can do
