Here a couple of better resized pics that more betterer show the bike as it now is. I've asked the current owner that the oem foot pegs, gear shift lever and rear brake pedal be re-fitted 'cause those rear sets just look way too uncomfortable (for me). Also, he tells me that the rear shocks and exhaust are period correct, but I probably would have prefered the original items. Unfortunately he sold em to pay for the upgrades and a load of other stuff including new instruments. We (he and me) have invested lots of time, $, and emotional energy in this bike ........

That is one seriously neat Kat Gary, and all those mods don't look out of place so I don't think they take too much from it, although with the history etc. I can see why you'd want the stock bits back on.
    1984 Katana 7/11 - done at last!

    1982 GS450E - not quite stock

my old bike arrived back home last Thursday ........ and the seller threw in a second JCW for free, I'll probably use it for spares.

thanks Nick ...... am looking forward to the ride to SOO and catching up. I have been doing a bit of work on it to bring it back as close to stock as possible. I am just about there but have to remove the black paint from the forks yet. It is amazing how many new parts are still available from Suzuki (via MH of course) which are most often cheaper than the used stuff on EBAY etc. Go figure! In saying that, I may as well also add that the service and assistance provided by the MH gang is top shelf ....... 20190704_171721.jpg20190709_090729.jpg20190709_094445.jpg
