Bike looks great and I'll put my hand up l had a gearsack, soo glad to throw it in the bin. Years ago there was a little flat chrome rack that looked the biz, probably still get one somewhere.

I've not bought a rack for 35 years or so, it was known as 'Hallmark' back then, click on that link in my post and it will bring up what you need.

Those 'L' brackets on that photo would be the Ventura ones.

A crap $25 rack is better than no rack.

I went to the drags at WSID as team Milwaukee pro stock were going to be there and namely Peter Allen my engine builder. Spent the day in the pits gawking at all the drag vehicles and not taking pics, IMG_0496copy.jpgIMG_0497copy.jpgIMG_0499copy.jpgIMG_0500copy.jpg, some of the milwaukee specs, standard GSX cases, 350hp, 1655cc, 7sec, 180mph, 700thou lift,18:1 compression ratio, 50mm lectron carbs, 50mm intake valves phew! Petes in the 3rd pic and has done it all a legend, first 7sec pass Australia, built a twin engine 650cc supercharged triumph dragbike, rode a triple engine Kawasaki 2 stroke dragbike, Australian champion builds the pro stock motors awesome and a wealth of knowledge all things GSX.

This morning coming home from night shift, she patiently waits while I smash a sausage roll from the bakery at Ermington shops IMG_0508 (2).JPG.Anyone going to the Silverwater motor festival this Saturday I was thinking of entering if still possible.

Thanks ThomasJ, everything panned out exactly as I had planned it and the end result is a practical daily (matt black everything) with a little bit extra (1260) oh and red bikes are faster . Although the day the engine was due to be trucked down from Brisbane was when the storms hit Brisbane and there was a delay of 3 days, watching the news I half expected to see my engine floating down a Brisbane street on a pallet.
