They're only backwards because Ronnie backed it into the shed.

O.K. Reg I must admit there are others as well as Derek that like rotors to be where they should, RH on the right and LH on the left. Suzuki went to the trouble of stamping the rotors RH and LH to ensure correct installation however, sometimes it just doesn't work out the way it was planned eh?

P.S. It's Nige that likes them arse-about and he wants us to change ours to match his.

    Cheers.

Nah im on the fence. One one-way the other the other-way still not convinced on which way is the best.
Matt the paint job is not that bad, something different. We will just need our shades on when you go for a ride with Ben.
Most importantly is that you got a real bike.

Hey Nige, maybe disc sitter rather than fence sitter? And I agree, Matt has a real Kat so all is well.

    Cheers.

At least they're on the correct end of the bike. There are stories of nutters putting them on the wrong end of the bike.
Now that is something to worry about.

Too late, ya know why they put the front rotor on the rear? It's lighter. Hhhuuummmmmmmmm, wonder who would have tried that?

    Hi All,
A quick note about what happened on the bike today.

Bled the Rear Brake. New plugs.
Starter wasn't doing its job, so swapped out with Ben's starter. Works great. Need to get mine working, see below.
Bike on the centre stand, some revs in 1st gear, clutch in, quickly stand on the rear brake a couple of times and the jammed clutch is no longer jammed. Ben found out about that one.
Another Oil change. This time with a filter change. I crushed the O'ring on the filter housing without realising and in 2 places. Oil leaked everywhere. Had to reuse the old one.
Wheels off and getting new tyres this week. While they're off, I might swap the front rotors around.
Rebuilding the Rear Brake as well.
Pulled my starter apart and it turns out I need a new one. (See the wanted section) There are supposed to be 4 magnets inside the starter and mine only has 3! You can see where the 4th one used to be?? No idea where it got to.
Pulled apart my carby's and they are full of crud and corruption. Still working on cleaning them up. The current plan is to use Ben's spares until I get mine going. (read between the lines).

    Until next time.
