    I know - I averaged just shy of 100km/h point to point on a run from Sydney to Adelaide (if you exclude the 2x 1 hour stops for sleep in my car) - I was cruising at around 130kmh to achieve that.
    I am sure you and your car is a bench mark we can all aspire to;
    Where did you get 4700k from?
    Davo did 4430k Brisbane to Fremantle in 45Hrs 22 min (Average 97.65 Klm/H)

    Personally I could not , while Averaging 100K/H isnt that hard, but car or bike 12hrs straight Im buggered...

    You must be going straight though the centre of Aus

    4715k's was from Ipswich Post Office to Golden Bay WA

    Brisbane to Golden Bay 4745k's (and still only 2 days by Where Is maps)

    Golden Bay is 63k south of Perth and 60k south of Fremantle

    With the amount of the country that's 100kmh speed limit, and having to slow for towns and fuel stops/traffic, averaging 97km/h is a very tall order without speeding.

    There are no speed limits in NT on some roads, maybe this helps.
