Ah bugger!! I just yesterday bored an 19mm hole in my front for an 1/2 BSP oil sight glass.

I stuffed up the alloy clip on the old original, and after two goes at it with the help from quite a handy Northside KA member, was left with only this option.

If I waited another few days, would have seen this post not to worry, might grab a front one Dave just for a future spare on my other bike.

Definitely let me know when you are up and running again.

    Cheers

Up and running now but waiting on getting some Early Kat windows engineered.
I've done the research, the measuring and the drawing. I had some made previously by an engineering firm but they seemed to forget that I specifically asked that the parts needed to be brake fluid resistant, and still made them in the wrong plastic, and the brake fluid dissolved them.
Back to the drawing board, and kiss that money goodbye.
The ones I have will fit almost everything else.
Nice bit of lateral thinking though.

Not sure what originals were made from, but they definitely appeared to be polymer.

The sight glass I used was about $9.00 and the lens is glass, and being a threaded fit, it should hold well.

    Cheers
