Get rid of the rack mount and chop the rear mudguard and its good to go. Now must go and put helmet on to avoid mudguard fall out. Oh no need to put helmet on as there will be no plastic cut off to cause fall out. Cheers Murf

I'll provide you a pre-cut guard to save you the effort Murf.

It is a good looking Katana and the frame is not an '84 as is the paint job and credit to the detail, also Shinken may be able to confirm this as i have not been able to find if Japan released this model with all Silver paintwork.

For sale in WA is this 84 which is all silver

http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/gosnells/motorcycles/suzuki-1100-katana-1984/1080508413

"In good condition, needs minor work + needs new battery.
Was running 2 years ago.
80000 klms approx. please ask on contact."

Being sold on "behalf of a friend"

States minor work and battery; he forgets to say that the carbies are actually (as removed) off the bike.........

I think this guy would have better results if he added a picture or two. :(

Hi Nick, it's an Aussie SE that has been painted silver. Maybe a P.O. didn't like the SE two tone scheme and wanted that classic 13L Kat look? It isn't a JDM, Japan didn't get the 1984 SE for domestic consumption it was export only.

Cheers.

Right side solid rotor is for that custom look just to be different. They got it half right, at least they bolted the left rotor on the right way!
