View Full Version : Beware the 'bay' !

Hi all, just had confirmation on an article on Ebay that may surprise a few people, or maybe not :)

I have been looking for a source of cheap small storage boxes and found Bunnings have a 'Tactix' 5 compartment box (19x11.5x3cm) for $2.48....not bad I recon. Note - they are small, 1 box would fit 1 salad sandwich and maybe a cheese stic.

I tried the bay and found the same box in Sydney with a parts supplier, in response to my query if their price was correct I was assured it was correct and covered delivery of 1 (one) box.

Have a look....$2.48 from Bunnings or what these jokers are asking.:confused: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/191424235633

Just another lesson that we all would have come across....It pays to shop around !!!

No, they (Bunning's) are in many cases more expensive than other companies with the same or comparable products.

Just for a laugh and a bit of an experiment once i made up an invoice at work for some mower blades at cost price and went to Bunnings to buy the same blades they matched the same price as my invoice but would not beat it by 10% because they had not heard of the business. Cheers Murf.
