Hello all, Ian's funeral is this Friday 22nd Sep for those wishing to attend. The attached link has the chapel location and funeral service details for Ian's farewell. For those who plan to ride to the service on their Kat I'll be speaking with Ian's family tonight regarding positioning of the Kats and the time to have the Kats in place prior to the service. For anyone planning to attend on their bike they are very welcome however, this is one time when it must be Kats in the tribute line up.

A Katana line up to farewell Ian, let's make it happen.

For those wishing to attend Ian's funeral and would like to have their Katana pay a farewell tribute to Ian please arrive at the carpark next to the chapel no later than 09:20. At 09:30 the Kats will be wheeled into position at the entrance to the chapel. The line up must be completed by 09:40 to allow other activities to take place without us moving bikes around in front of the chapel.

After the service the plan is to gather at the Walloon Saloon for those able to attend.

Thank you to everyone here who have passed on their kind words and thoughts at this time of great sadness for Sue and Ian's family and the many people who knew our mate Ian.

Rest well my friend.

Hi John, as we spoke about this morning, Ian was a great family man and you and Val being interstate with family commitments is something Ian would back 100%. Thank you and I'll pass on to Sue your thoughts when I visit Sue today.

Spoke with Sue today about dress code for anyone riding to the funeral. Sue is happy with riding gear and Katana shirts like our grey collared shirt if you have one.

Wonderful to see 7 Kats able to escort Ian on his final journey. The guys looked great in their SoO shirts, Sue was rapt.

Hi Nick - Sue definitely appreciated the support and turnout as did Ian's family. Shin-ken did all the hard yards to muster the troops - it was poignant for him especially as Ian and he had become such good friends.

We are all touched/connected by our mutual interest in the Katana and the Katana Brand has lost one of its most passionate supporters in Australia..........
