Looks like Photobucket went and screwed everyone yesterday or today... they updated their terms of service with no notice or announcement and changed it so that free users cannot use Photobucket and link to it from forums etc. In fact, the only way you can do this is to pay them $400 per year... yeah right!

I'm in the process of deleting my account and will find an alternative...

It does mean a lot of work to go and update my Kat thread so I'm not sure how soon I'll get to that or if I will, but new stuff will be right once I get an alternative sorted.

If anyone's looking for an alternative, I'd recommend looking at Mediafire https://www.mediafire.com/

Up to 10GB free, no limits on bandwidth, image sizes, etc. Doesn't have photo editing etc. like Photobucket but that doesn't bother me, I just need somewhere to host the photos.

True John, although somewhere I saw some limits applied etc.... but I just looked and I can't see any, oh well I've got Mediafire sorted now apparently.

Ben, lots of people still have their embedded images working for now by the looks, but a lot don't, so don't be surprised if they just stop working at some point soon. As soon as you put that link in your forum post you are now breaking their terms of service... bastards!
