I've been keen to stick a solo seat cowl on my 1100 and 750 but they are pretty hard to find. I've found a guy who makes replicas but only the outer and no frames or nuts or bolts. So I was after some guidance on how the cowl mounts to the bike. Unlike on other bikes I have there is no screw hole throuh the seat so I imagine it clips under the seat. Does anybody have any knowledge on the issue or a couple of pictures they could share?
Many thaks

What year Gixxer, Paul?

I have a single-seat cowl at mine I don't need any more, it's plain blue and fits a '92 model (likely earlier than that too).

And yes, it has (I think) a tab at the back that fits under the ducktail.

Sorry it's an 87 model - thanks heaps but I think they are different.

Pretty sure they use the bolt that holds the pillion strap?

So it seems on the 1100 as it has the single piece seat. The 750 with the two piece seat seems to bolt to a bracket under the rider seat section.
Thanks for that
