Won't interest some but for me at least finding the following would be just about as good as it could possibly get :cool::cool:

That would have been an auction to go to with very deep pockets. That is incredible hoard.

Really? The reason he didn't sell them was that they are shite and probably didn't want to deal with the warranty issues.

Play nice Paul, agreed, they are not the best Norton ever made but the idea of anything still in its crate after 40 or 50 years is pretty cool I recon

- let alone 11 of them plus others still in crates.

I'd still be happy if they were in my shed :D

Aaaaaah Nick you're starting to be afflicted with that very English notion that just cause it's old it's valuable and good?????

Whadda ya mean old, broken, rusty, leaking, miss-matched, don't ride it in the rain if you want to get home and British isn't valuable and good? Say it ain't so Paul.

..Glen don't encourage them or they 'll all want KATANAS and there's precious few to share around now,...... if you believe the importers:(

Still shit boxes

I was trying more to make the point that brand new bikes in crates being discovered tucked away and forgotten about would be a great discovery any day of the week....regardless of what they were.

The 1975 electric start Norton certainly doesn't get my juices flowing but thats what was found and someone somewhere will recon they were the best bike ever made

Imagine 11 crated, never assembled Black Shadows, Manx Nortons, SZ Kats or (the holiest of holy's) Jota's found in a barn....that is more the feeling I was trying to get across. :)

Shit boxes....sure, but an untouched bike still in its box......still pretty cool imho  whether 2010, 2015 or 2035.
