Katana Australia welcome page
The Welcome Page

Welcome to the Australian Suzuki Katana Owners Group!

Having grown rapidly over the years, with our memberships well over the 700's and still increasing, we are gaining more recognition from around the world as a worthy forum. Continuing our work to keep this forum open to the world and updated is one of our many tasks. Keeping our members well informed is our priority. By being here you have taken your first step to discover more about this classic motorcycle with its own unique history that sets it apart from others. When the Katana first appeared in the 1980's it was revered as an advanced aerodynamically designed mass production motorcycle for its time. This came about when Suzuki approached Hans Muth to design something new and different, they were about to embark into an era of motrcycling that will forever change the motorcycling industry.

Note: There is only one true Suzuki Katana! Remove the labels, badges and the paint, ride this motorcycle into any public concourse and still people will recognise it.

This Should Be A Promo Ad For Sure!

Yamaha employs new team coach with very unorthodox methods to keep members on their toes and that throttle at max.

Since the anniversary meeting here in Albury/Wodnga NSW, there is now a great deal more interest locally and overseas, that we have stepped up the ante. Katana Australia was fortunate to have a representative from our fellow Katana Owners Group from Japan here in Australia for the celebrations. A massive effort on their part with the crisis they are having to deal with presently. We wish them well and a speedy recovery so they can return to enjoying their favourite past time - riding their Katana.
